His Excellency Sir Patrick Bijou is a Senior Banking Redemption Judge for the International Court of Justice-International Criminal Court (ICJ-ICC), Ambassador for World Peace Tracts, investment banker, fund manager, and notable author. He’s worked with Wells Fargo, Crédit Agricole, Deutsche Bank, and other financial institutions.
Academic Qualification
Sir Patrick was born in the city of Georgetown in the year 1958. He arrived in the United Kingdom in 1963 and has remained there ever since. He received his primary schooling in London and later moved to the United States for additional studies due to the lack of MBA programs in the United Kingdom. Camden College in the United States awarded him an Honors in Business Studies and a Masters in Economics and International Banking.
He earned numerous degrees from Southampton University in England and the University of Hertfordshire in England, including a PhD in Economics and International Banking. The Impact of Quantitative Easing Measures on Interest Rates, Financial Markets, and Economic Activity: A Case Study of the United States of America is the title of his thesis.
A Profession
His career began on Wall Street with Wells Fargo Bank. He afterwards transferred to the trading floor, where he specialized in debt markets. He worked his way up to being a bond trader at Deutsche Bank on Wall Street. He has extensive experience working in many banks throughout the world as a registered private banker. Throughout his life, His Excellency has successfully serviced a variety of clientele, including governments, banking institutions, corporations, and others. He worked at Wells Fargo Investment Bank, Crédit Agricole CIB, Crédit Agricole Corporate, Deutsche Bank, Blackstone, Tiger Fund, Merrill Lynch, and other financial institutions.
Using his degree and over 30 years of experience, he constantly exhibits professional ethics, lateral thinking, and many other skills. ICJ or The International Court of Justice is the primary judicial body of the United Nations (UN). This court is made up of only 15 justices who are elected by the United Nations General Assembly and Security Council for a nine-year term. This court has two primary functions: to settle international law through judgments and to provide advisory opinions on legal matters posed by recognized UN organizations and organizations. Sir Patrick was appointed to the International Court of Justice’s panel of arbitrators and the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes’ panel of arbitrators on March 15, 2021.
In addition, in December 2015, he passed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level I Exam. He also holds Series 7 and 63 licenses from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
Patrick Bijou also belongs to the Wells Fargo Millionaire Club and the Wells Fargo Champion Circle. He received the “Valley of the Stars” and “Circle of Stars” awards from Wells Fargo.
